Estival lookbook: the essentials to put in your suitcase

When you pack your bags it is always difficult to make a decision. You ask yourself: “what should I take with me”? And you end  up putting all your closet in your bag. No surprise  it doesn’t close. These are estival outfits & essentials that will be your new must-haves. Add them to your packing list. You won’t be disappointed & you’ll manage to close your bag. Promise.

1/A coral/poppy dress

Valentino dress SS 2017 FS

If mellennial pink is undoubtedly the color of the season, coral and poppy pieces are fashionable as well. Coral and poppy dresses ruled the Valentino and Balmain catwalks during the SS 2017 fashion shows. What’s more, Bella Hadid, Zendaya and Chiara Ferragni adopted the trend as well. I purchased a coral dress myself at “Libertie”.

2/Statement sunglasses

Going on holidays without a pair of sunnies is unthinkable. This season, round sunglasses are must-haves. Elie Saab’s SS 2017 prêt à porter collection presented an oversized version of the trend surrounded by pearls. Shay Mitchell  swears by them. I fell in love with these Mustang ones my dad bought:

3/The monokini/shorts combo

Capucine Puerari swimming suit and Jennyfer shorts

Who said monokinis were only made for  swimming? Why couldn’t you wear a monokoni like a body? You can slay the monokini/shorts look in town as well as on the beach for a classy and updated outfit.
I love to pair these Jennyfer shorts with this Capucine Puerari swimming suit my mum bought and this Abercrombie monokini I found in the USA.

4/Pearly Sandals

Jonak sandals

Sandals are Summer essentials: they go with almost every outfit and air your feet (I like you sneakers and stilletos but still). I am particularly obsessed with these Jonak pearly sandals. Leandra Médine has a pair from the Man Repeller. You can also buy ones from Stuart Weitzman or Elina Linadarki.

5/A frindge mini-bag

Claudie Pierlot bag

Frindge bags are a must this season: they are in every posh store -Chloé, Burberry, Maje. You can also find some at Claudie Pierlot. I purchased this Claudie Pierlot “Angela” Python mini bag which I can carry everywhere:
